Viaggio India Tours is an Indian tour operator based in Udaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, organizing tours across the Indian subcontinent.

The company is led by Gajendra Singh, a highly motivated and experienced professional with a tourist driving license and decades of experience working with leading Italian tour operators.

The agency’s services cater to an international clientele, with a special focus on Italian/European tourists, whose preferences and expectations are well understood. To ensure the best experience, the agency collaborates with skilled operators, guides, and tour leaders who are fluent in Italian and possess strong professional backgrounds.
The tours are primarily cultural in nature, with some also offering the opportunity to enjoy a deeply emotional, physical, psychic, and spiritual experience through Ayurvedic treatments.

About Our Founder

GAJENDRA SINGH SHAKTAWAT was born in Bana, in the province of Udaipur, Rajasthan. 

 He attended school in Udaipur and after obtaining a high school diploma, he enrolled at Udaipur University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Political Science and Public Administration.

 His career then took a different turn as his interest in tourism grew and eager to establish his own business, he took the bold step of learning Italian. With this knowledge, he started accompanying Italian tourists who were visiting India as their tour guide. This led him all over the country, where he was delighted to share his extensive knowledge of the subcontinent with his guests. 

 He has worked for some of the notable Italian Tour Operators such as Franco Rosso, I Viaggi dell’Elefante, Hotelplan, Mistral and Avventure nel Mondo. 

 Building on his international experience gained through working with these tour operators, he decided to set up Viaggio India Tours and now works diligently with his associates to make every visitor’s trip to India a truly memorable experience.
